The type of construction and the installation dates of
UST's are unknown. the
SITE BACKGROUND AND BYDROGEOLOGY
Exxon proposes to remove the existing tanks and associated
000 product
piping and replace with three 12
and product piping. gallon tanks, new dispensers
pip g. To date, Aegis is unaware of any former
environmental investigations performed at the site.
._ Groundwater flow direction has not been determined at the site, but
local investigations have identified the groundwater surface to be
at a depth of approximately 60 feet below ground surface (bgs) .
SITE PLAN
For the purposes of this workplan, a project site plan map is
r included as Figure 2. The layout includes the location of the
three existing UST's, dispenser islands and product lines. The
proposed two on-site soil borings locations are also included in
f;.. Figure 2.
BITE SAFETY PLAN
A Site Safety Plan (SSP) prepared
during all field activities. All On-site work be co
will ill n on site
conon
in
accordance with the SSP. A copy of the SSP is included as Appendix
A. The SSP contains information on the properties of the hazardous
materials known to be on site. This information is equivalent to
that contained within the Material Safety Data Sheets.
BOIL BORING AND SOIL SAMPLING
Prior to drilling, a Ground Penetrating Radar Survey (GFR) will be
performed to identify detectable subsurface _utilities and-possible-- -—
----drilling-obstructions-that may be buried at or near each boring.
location. The GPR will also assist in delineating the exact
boundaries of the UST's. As drilling is not proposed near the site
4
.: 90-205A.YPM
90.205.WP
