The report will be factual in nature, presenting the � E results of the investigation. Further work, as necessary, will be addressed in subsequent workplans. ! The report of the proposed investigation will include, but not necessarily be limited to: a) discussions of the site background, investigative methods used and local and regional hydrogeology; b) i a review of any prior environmental investigations, tank testing or other related work, as available and appropriate; c) boring logs; d) laboratory analytical data, and e) laboratory reports and chain- of-custody forms. SCHEDULE Aegis will proceed with the work outlined in this plan upon approval by the governing agency. A drilling crew may be mobilized to drill the proposed borings within one week of approval. „a Laboratory analyses of soil and water samples may require appraximately one week. A report of our results including information on subsurface geology, groundwater depth, conclusions and recommendations could be prepared within three weeks after h,414 laboratory results are received. ' SUMMARY • b� The objective of the proposed investigation is to determine if �.� there are petroleum constituents present in the soils beneath the y existing UST basin, and if s:o, to preliminarily determine the vertical extent of the impactetl soil. Based on the results of the site investigation, Aegis will evaluate the scope of work necessary for the proposed tank and product line replacement in accordance with SJCPHSD's, the Tri-Regional Staff Recommendations for Initial Evaluation and the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank (LUFT) Manual guidelines and recommendations. In order to achieve this objective, a total of two borings will be t ' drilled.
