EI Dorado Street in Stockton, CA <br /> The Air Pollution Control Officer of the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution <br /> Control District (SJVUAPCD) intends to Issue an Authority to Construct to Exxon <br /> Company, U.S A for the purpose of operating a soil remediation project The facility <br /> will be located at 1605 S. El Dorado Street in Stockton (within 1 ,000 feet of Edison <br /> High School). Section 42301 .6 of the California Health & Safety Code requires the <br /> District to prepare & distribute a public notice to the parents of children in any K-12 <br /> school within one-quarter mile of the source and to each address within a radius of <br /> 1,000 feet from the proposed new or modified source which may emit air <br /> contaminants within 1,000 feet from the outer boundary of a school <br /> The equipment to be operated at this location consists of the following -. Soil-vapor <br /> extraction and remediation system served by an Alton Geoscience (Model # V0150) <br /> • catalytic oxidation system followed by an Aquatec (Model # MX500-V) carbon <br /> adsorption system. <br /> The emissions from this source will be controlled by the Best Available Control <br /> Technology (BACT) which consists of the above mentioned systems. <br /> The Distract estimates that the Volatile Organic Compound emissions from the facility <br /> will not exceed 6 5 pounds per day <br /> A copy of the application review for this project is available for public inspection at <br /> the Northern Regional Office of the SJVUAPCD.
