EI Dorado Street
Stockton , CA 95206
Subject: QUICK & SAVE
1901 SOUTH ELDORADO
STOCKTON CA 95206
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) has reviewed
Extraction Well EW- 1 Development dated February 12 , 2007, prepared by Advanced
Geo Environmental, Inc. (AGE) and has the following comments .
In accordance with EHD 's directive letter dated December 8, 2006 , AGE redeveloped
EW-1 on December 20, 2006. During this redevelopment, the maximum sustainable
purge rate was 10 gallons/hour, or less than 0. 17 gallons/minute. AGE concluded that
EW-1 appears to be adequately developed and that the Ground Water Pump Test and
Soil Vapor Extraction Pilot Test Report dated March 20, 2006 remains valid . AGE
concludes that groundwater extraction (GWE) at the site does not appear to be feasible
and that site conditions appear to be suitable for dual phase extraction (DPE).
EHD concurs that interim remediation should be implemented due to MTBE levels in
groundwater exceeding 10, 000 pg/I . Submit a work plan to conduct a pilot DPE test by
July 7, 2008 .
If you have any questions, please contact Frank Girardi at (209) 953-7868 .
Frank Girardi, REHS Nuel C.
