d 23 January 2015 <br /> AGE Project No . 06- 1457 <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br /> 2 . 3 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION <br /> A total of three additional intermediate-screened wells are proposed for installation <br /> during the proposed assessment activities . One well will be installed adjacent to <br /> previously advanced boring CPT-8 , on the east side of Hunter Street (east of boring <br /> CPT-5) and one additional well e isro osed to be installed on the west side p p de Hunter <br /> Streets , south of 5th Street ( Figure 3) . The final construction of the wells will also be <br /> determined in the field at the direction of SJCEHD and based on field findings during g the <br /> advancement of the each of the boring . <br /> Procedures for well installations and completion are presented in Sections 3 .2 . and 3 . 3 . <br /> 2 . 3 . 1 . Well Development and Survey <br /> Following installation , the proposed wells will be developed to maximize water flow and <br /> minimize the amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or <br /> bailing . After development, elevation and location of all wells will be surveyed by a <br /> professional surveyor. Procedures for development and survey are presented in <br /> Section 3 . 4 . <br /> 2 . 3 . 2 . Groundwater Sampling and Analysis � � ► �.aa'j� <br /> Following installation , groundwater monitoring and sampling activities will be conducted <br /> for the proposed well on a quarterly basis for a minimum of one year (four sampling <br /> events) . Monitoring activities will include recording depth to groundwater measurements <br /> and collection of groundwater samples for laboratory analysis by a CDPH-certified <br /> laboratory for contaminants listed in Section 2 . 2 . Groundwater sample collection <br /> protocols are described in Section 3 . 5 . \ <br /> 2 .4 . REPORT PREPARATION <br /> I <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis , a report will be <br /> prepared presenting the findings of the investigation . The report will include a <br /> description of the work performed and results of the sampling and analysis . <br /> Conclusions , applicable recommendations , maps and cross-sections will be included in <br /> the report . The report will be in a format acceptable to the SJCEHD and CVRWQCB , <br /> and will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. <br />
