d 23 January 2015 AGE Project No . 06- 1457 Page 3 of 6 2 . 3 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION A total of three additional intermediate-screened wells are proposed for installation during the proposed assessment activities . One well will be installed adjacent to previously advanced boring CPT-8 , on the east side of Hunter Street (east of boring CPT-5) and one additional well e isro osed to be installed on the west side p p de Hunter Streets , south of 5th Street ( Figure 3) . The final construction of the wells will also be determined in the field at the direction of SJCEHD and based on field findings during g the advancement of the each of the boring . Procedures for well installations and completion are presented in Sections 3 .2 . and 3 . 3 . 2 . 3 . 1 . Well Development and Survey Following installation , the proposed wells will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing . After development, elevation and location of all wells will be surveyed by a professional surveyor. Procedures for development and survey are presented in Section 3 . 4 . 2 . 3 . 2 . Groundwater Sampling and Analysis � � ► �.aa'j� Following installation , groundwater monitoring and sampling activities will be conducted for the proposed well on a quarterly basis for a minimum of one year (four sampling events) . Monitoring activities will include recording depth to groundwater measurements and collection of groundwater samples for laboratory analysis by a CDPH-certified laboratory for contaminants listed in Section 2 . 2 . Groundwater sample collection protocols are described in Section 3 . 5 . \ 2 .4 . REPORT PREPARATION I Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis , a report will be prepared presenting the findings of the investigation . The report will include a description of the work performed and results of the sampling and analysis . Conclusions , applicable recommendations , maps and cross-sections will be included in the report . The report will be in a format acceptable to the SJCEHD and CVRWQCB , and will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist. I I Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc.
