In accordance with SWRCB Resolution No. 2009-0042, this site is under a semi-annual
groundwater monitoring and sampling program (during first and third quarters each year); therefore
no groundwater monitoring/sampling was conducted during the fourth quarter 2011. Historical
groundwater elevation and analytical results are summarized in Table 1.
2. During the fourth quarter 2011, full-time operation of the soil vapor extraction (SVE) remediation
system at the site continued. Stratus visited the site on October 4 and 20, November 2 and 17,
and December 5 and 21, 2011 to perform routine system operation and maintenance (O&M),
optimize system performance, collect soil vapor samples for permit compliance and to assist in the
evaluation of system effectiveness. Soil vapor airflow rates and analytical results for air samples
collected from the SVE system are presented in Table 2. Operational uptime, flow rates, and the
extraction and emission rates for the SVE system are summarized in Tables 3 and 4. Field data
sheets and laboratory analytical reports are included as Appendices A and B, respectively.
WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER (First Quarter 2012):
1. Conduct semi-annual groundwater monitoring and sampling activities (performed January 11,
2012).
2.—C—ontinue full-time operation of the SVE remediation system during January 2012.
