(AGE) , on your <br /> behalf for the above-referenced site. The Work Plan Addendum was prepared in response to <br /> the EHD letter dated 24 September 2014 directing the submittal of a work plan to install <br /> additional monitoring wells to delineate the lateral and vertical extent of soil and groundwater <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at this site . <br /> In the Work Plan Addendum , AGE proposes: <br /> © Advancing four off-site soil borings using eight-inch-diameter hollow-stem augers to <br /> approximately ninety feet below surface grade (bsg) for lithologic evaluation ; <br /> Collecting soil samples at five-foot intervals, beginning at approximately ten feet bsg , <br /> and one grab groundwater sample at approximately ninety feet bsg during advancement <br /> of the four deep borings ; <br /> Screening for volatile organic compounds using an organic vapor meter equipped with a <br /> photo-ionization detector in soil samples collected in the field ; <br /> Installing four monitoring wells with screen intervals between approximately twenty and <br /> forty feet bsg , based on hydrogeologic conditions encountered during advancement of <br /> the four adjacent deep soil borings described above ; <br /> Clearing for utilities by Underground Service Alert prior to advancing the four <br /> borings1monitoring wells ; <br /> Locating one boring/monitoring well pair approximately 175 feet west of the site in the <br /> City of Stockton right-of-way on the north side of West Eighth Street;' ' <br />
