P-a
Sent: Friday, December 05, 2014 10 : 10 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH1
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH] ; William Little
Subject: McBillin Property, 2154 S. EI Dorado St., Stockton CA
Hi Vicki ,
I would like to further discuss the attached EHD directive letter
( 11/ 20/ 14 ) which approved install of 4 off- site wells . The letter also
listed an additional condition for deep well should located northeast of
MW- 2/GW - 2 .
The installation of an additional deep groundwater monitoring well will
most likely exceed the 2014/ 15 tank fund allocated budget ; AGE would
need to submit a budget change order request . After internal discussion ,
AGE disagrees with this added condition at this time based on severe
tank fund budget constraints . Additionally , the dissolved plume already
has some constraints based on the non - detect grab water sample
previously collected at GW- 1 , located northeast of MW - 2/ GW- 2 . At this
time , a deep grab water sample (s) may better serve to evaluate deeper
impact northeast of MW - 2/ GW - 2 .
We would like to move forward with the offsite installations , especially
since encroachment permits will be necessary and can take some time
processing with public works . Please let me know your thoughts on just
installing the 4 offsite wells and/or 1 deep grab groundwater sample if
necessary .
Thanks - Tim
1 /5/2015
