Page I o
N
Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Sent: Friday, December 05, 2014 2: 38 PM
To: 'Tim Cuellar'
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH] ; William Little
Subject: RE: McBillin Property, 2154 S. EI Dorado St. , Stockton CA
Hi Tim ,
Nuel Henderson and I have discussed the proposal by Advanced
GeoEnvironmantal , Inc. (AGE) to advance one deep soil boring and collect one
grab groundwater sample instead of installing a deep monitoring well northeast of
i GW- 2/ MW- 2 . By letter dated 20 November 2014, the San Joaquin County
,I Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) had directed that, following the
advancement of a deep soil boring northeast of GW- 2/ MW- 2 , a deep monitoring
well be installed .
The EHD concurs with AGE 's proposal to advance one deep soil boring and collect
one grab groundwater sample . However, instead of advancing the soil boring
northeast of MW- 2/GW - 2, the EHD directs that the soil boring be advanced north
of GW- 2 where high concentrations of contaminants of concern were detected in
grab groundwater samples collected in July 2008 . If high concentrations of
contaminants of concern are detected in the one deep grab groundwater sample
collected , a budget change order request to the Cleanup Fund may be
necessary so that an additional monitoring well can be installed north of GW- 2 .
Please submit a revised work plan that includes this additional soil boring north
of GW- 2 .
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney(Msicehd. com
a
From : Tim Cuellar [mailto:tcuellar@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Friday, December 05, 2014 10 : 10 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH]; William Little
Subject: McBillin Property, 2154 S.
