INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Minh Le , Advanced GeoEnvironmental , Inc. (AGE) has prepared this <br /> work plan for the property located at 2154 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton , California <br /> (site). The work plan details the installation of a shallow groundwater monitoring network <br /> to assess the hydrocarbon impact from leaking underground storage tanks (USTs) <br /> previously installed at the site . <br /> Thiswork plan has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB ) for the subsurface investigation <br /> of UST sites , and is in response to a San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (SJCEHD) directive letter, dated 12 September 2013 (Appendix A). <br /> A site location map is included as Figure 1 . Structures , historical soil borings, monitoring <br /> well location and proposed monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 . A table <br /> detailing the deep well construction details is included in Table 1 . Historical soil , <br /> groundwater elevation and groundwater analytical data are included in Tables 2 through 5 . <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of the work includes the drilling and installation of three shallow screened <br /> groundwater monitoring wells [between 25 and 45 feet below surface grade (bsg)] at the <br /> site to assess hydrocarbon impact to groundwater resulting from previously installed <br /> leaking UST's . The scope of work will include the following tasks: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Pilot drilling and soil sample collection ; <br /> • Monitoring well installation and development; <br /> • Laboratory analysis of soil samples; <br /> • Quarterly groundwater sampling and analysis; and <br /> • Preparation of a report of findings . <br /> 2 . 1 . PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the SJCEHD . In addition , an <br /> update to the health and safety plan presently on-file will be prepared in accordance with <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br />
