The samples are analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) , volatile aromatic <br /> compounds benzene , toluene , ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), fuel <br /> oxygenated compounds methyl tertiary butyl ether, ethyl tertiary butyl ether, <br /> diisopropyl ether, tertiaryamyl methyl ether, and tertiary butyl alcohol (MTBE , ETBE , <br /> DIPE , TAME & TBA) , 1 ,2-dichloroethane ( 1 , 2-DCA) and 1 ,2-dibromoethane (EDB) <br /> by EPA Method 82608 . <br /> EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION AND WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> Any non-disposable equipment used for sample collection is thoroughly rinsed with clean <br /> water after being washed with a solution of Alconox.
