SJC/EHD approved the work plan.in their March 7, 2005 letter.. We
are sending this letter to inform you that progress is being made toward initializing the clean up system.
Permits have been received from the following agencies:
Water disposal-City of Stockton,OMI Thames Water Company
Building Permit-City of Stockton Building Department
We are still awaiting the followingitems:
ems:
Treated vapor discharge- San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District: (Per their January 9, 2006 letter
they have received the permit application and they are working on it)
Natural Gas and Electrical Service- PG&E.: I met with PG&E staff at the site yesterday (February 23, 2006)
and we discussed the electrical and gas requirements. They will add a transformer to the pole near the
southwest corner of the property and'this will allow us to get the 37phase electricity for the system. The gas
supplyis a problem issue-the closest high pressure supply is on the adjacent residential parcel to the south. We
will have to request permission from the property owner to allow PG&E to tap into the gas line on their
property and extend the line to your site. If the owner(s) say no, then PG&E will not supply high pressure gas
to your site and we-will have to pick a different cleanup system.
As soon as we get permission from the adjacent property owners then PG&E can start planning the work. We
will contact the owners and get things moving as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and if you have
any questions,please contact me at(209) 522-4119.
Respectfully submitted,
Joseph D.
