(EI) is pleased <br /> to provide EHD with the following information. <br /> All future sampling events will include pH, temperature and conductivity readings before <br /> and during the purging process. <br /> • The decontamination solution used on 03/10/04 was Liquinox. <br /> The 55-gal drums containing the purged groundwater will be labeled. <br /> • All samples will be placed immediately upon collection into a cooler with a temperature of <br /> 4°C. <br /> Items concerning the groundwater monitoring reports: <br /> 1 . Attached is the new "Groundwater Sampling Guide and Field Notes" that EI will be using <br /> for each future groundwater sampling event. This document will replace the previously <br /> used field sheets and the original will be included in all subsequent quarterly reports. <br /> 2. EI will use the monitoring well designation number instead of the well locations on all <br /> Chain of Custody sheets. <br /> 3. EI is coordinating with the laboratory to include the QA/QC data listed in #3 of the letter <br /> dated 04/13/04 in each laboratory report. <br /> 4. All references to "San Joaquin County Public Health Services" will be changed to "San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department" in all future correspondence. <br /> 5. Table 2 has been revised. The units of all analytical results have been changed to ppb <br /> (µg/1) and all results have been reviewed for correctness. Also, the reporting limit has <br /> been included instead of ND. <br /> 6. The superscripts have been removed from Table 2 to prevent confusion. <br /> 7. Oxygenates in Table 2 have been separated into the individual components. <br /> 8. 1 ,2-DCA and EDB will be added to the analytical list and will be reported in Q2 2004's <br /> report. <br /> 9.
