I <br /> Cal Tank Lines <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> • Soil investigation should continue to a minimum of 50 feet below surface grade and until two <br /> consecutive 5-foot soil samples are non-detectable for contamination. <br /> • Provide a map showing all boring locations, proposed Monitoring Well (MW) locations, <br /> existing MW locations, existing and previous UST locations, ground water gradient (current <br /> and historical), building locations, etc. <br /> • Provide all groundwater monitoring results in tabulated form. Sample analysis should be for <br /> Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, Xylene, (using EPA Method 8020), Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons as Diesel, Gasoline and Motor Oil (using EPA Method 8015m), as well as <br /> Oxygenates (using EPA Method 8260). <br /> • Propose at least two feasible remediation options for contaminated soil and groundwater at <br /> this site. Include all resource information used in this determination. <br /> • A survey of domestic, municipal, agricultural, industrial and any other wells within a 2, 000 foot <br /> radius of this site. Contact the Department of Water Resources, municipal water suppliers <br /> and nearby industries for well information. In addition, perform a physical search of the area <br /> to identify any wells. Show the locations of all wells, submit any known construction details of <br /> the wells and evaluate the influence of their pumping with respect to the migration of the <br /> contamination. <br /> Continue quarterly monitoring of MW2 and any future MWs installed at this site and notify <br /> PHS/EHD 48 hours in advance of sampling.
