Ellis , Trustee et alia <br /> 1991 West Lincoln Road <br /> Stockton, California 95207-2462 <br /> Subject: California Tank Lines, Inc. <br /> 3105 South EI Dorado Street <br /> Stockton, California 95206 <br /> Dear Mr. Ellis: <br /> By e-mail dated 9 December 2010, Mr. Martin Wills of Taber Consultants (Taber) requested an <br /> extension for submitting the report of findings for fieldwork completed at your site on 18 October <br /> 2010. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) approves the <br /> extension of this submittal to 10 January 2011 . Mr. Wills also included the status of the nearby <br /> domestic wells that had been reported in Work Plan - Determination of the Extent of <br /> Contamination Affecting MW-4, dated 01 August 2006 , but had been omitted in the Sensitive <br /> Receptor Survey dated 07 June 2010, The EHD had requested this information by letter dated <br /> 21 July 2010. <br /> The EHD has not received a corrective action plan (CAP) nor a report of findings from testing <br /> specialized bailers and/or socks filled with Carphene or Peakwick to determine which would be <br /> the more effective for removing the oil from monitoring well MW-2; both the CAP and the oil <br /> removal report were due to this office by 01 November 2010. Submit these reports to the EHD <br /> within 30 days of the date of this letter. <br /> The EHD had also directed by letter dated 21 July 2010, that all quarterly groundwater <br /> monitoring reports as well as other reports that had been denied by this department be revised <br /> and resubmitted to GeoTracker immediately. To date , only the quarterly groundwater reports <br /> from 2005 have been uploaded to GeoTracker. You are now directed to submit these reports to <br /> the EHD and GeoTracker within 30 days of the date of this letter. The reports include: Site <br /> Investigation Results and Site Conceptual Model, dated 30 September 2008, with a revised date <br /> of 01 June 2010, and Soil Vapor Survey Report, Human Health Risk Assessment, and <br /> Additional Site Investigation Work Plan, dated 25 January 2010 , with a revised date of 01 June <br /> 2010. <br /> Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this letter, please contact Vicki <br /> McCartney at (209) 468-9852, or by email at vmccartney@sjcehd.com. <br />
