ti.. woe
From: Greg [ma i Ito:gd@DESxyz.com]
Sent: Tuesday, September 09, 2014 4:21 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]; Nuel Henderson [EH]; Allen Genetti; AD
Subject: Notes on California Tank Lines Meeting at SJCEHD on
September 8, 2014
Hi Folks,
Thanks for taking the time to meet with us yesterday at the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)
offices.
The principal findings of the meeting were as follows:
1) The SJCEHD concurred with the proposed groundwater
monitoring well locations in the recent DES Report(June 16,
2014), and also directed that a 3rd well be installed on the east
side of South El Dorado Street. This concurrence is in response to
the recommendation in the DES Report (June 16, 2014) and the
recent Case review performed by the SWRCB.
2) Well Screen intervals should 20 to 35 feet bgs to capture the 1st
and 2nd sand zones identified in the cross-sections in the DES
Report(June 16, 2014).
3) The SJCEHD will provide a directive letter for DES to prepare
a Work Plan to guide installation of the 3 new groundwater
monitoring wells. DES understands that the SJCEHD letter will
also include instructions on the permitting procedures at SJCEHD.
4) In Q 1 2014, an extended list of waste oil analytes were reported
in MW I. In the upcoming monitoring event, the extended list of
waste oil analytes will be performed in MW2.
5)Nuel also indicated that the product in MW2 should be tested to
determine its composition (gasoline, diesel, or waste oil). If
product is found in other wells, the product in those wells should
also be tested.
6) DES will coordinate with Time Qualar from AGE to perform
coordinated monitoring of the California Tank Lines Site and
Pacific Pride Site on the same day in Q4 2014. Once a date is
scheduled, DES will notify Vicki so that an inspection can be
arranged.
7) The SJCEHD indicated that conducting an updated land survey
of the Pacific Pride Site wells would not be productive since those
wells are CMT wells may not provide representative
groundwater elevation measurements.
8)Nuel indicated that preparing a Corrective Action Plan is the
10/31/2014
