San Joaquin Street <br /> Stockton, CA 95203 <br /> Subj: Amendment to Village West Marina tank removal; Request for <br /> Job site: 6649 Embarcadero Drive, Stockton, CA 95219 <br /> To change proposed "Removal of fuel transfer lines." to "Abandonment in place <br /> of part of subject piping." <br /> Subject piping to run thirteen (13) feet southeast from discharge end and ninety <br /> (90) feet northeast from said southeast point for a total of one hundred three (103) <br /> feet. (Refer to accompanying drawing. ) <br /> All pipes will be triple rinsed (Three runs of two (2) inch iron pipe.) with a <br /> solution of water and detergent. Rinsate will be collected in 55 gallon drums and <br /> picked up by a hazardous waste hauler for delivery to a disposal site. <br /> The decontaminated pipe will be filled with a cement and sand slurry (5 to 1) and <br /> capped at each end. <br /> Soil samples will be taken every twenty (20) feet as required for soil testing, <br /> to a depth of two (2) feet, or more, below the lines.
