El Dorado Street
Stockton, California
By letter dated August 8, 2005 , San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(EHD) approved the sampling frequency reduction from quarterly to annually at
monitoring wells MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-6, and multi-chamber wells MW- 10, MW_
11 , and MW- 12 at the above-referenced site. However, upon reviewing Quarterly Report —
First Quarter 2005 dated August 10, 2005, prepared and submitted by Advanced
GeoEnvironmental (AGE) on your behalf, EHD has decided that MW-4, and multi-
chamber wells MW- 10 and MW- 12 should be sampled quarterly instead of annually. This
decision to reinstate quarterly sampling at the three monitoring wells is based on laboratory
analytical results for the March 15, 2005 sampling event showing significant
concentrations of benzene, toluene, and total xylenes in MW-4, and 1 ,2-dichloroethane in
MW- 10 andMW- 12.
EHD still has not received the monitoring well survey report for wells surveyed in
December 2004. Submit this survey report to EHD by October 31 , 2005 .
Please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-3456 or by email at vinccartneyca)sicehd. com
if you have any questions regarding this letter.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Envi
ronmental Health Department
Victoria L.
