PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will be submitted to the SJCEHD. As required by SJCEHD <br /> permitting, a health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and <br /> Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational <br /> Safety and Health Administration, U.S . Coast Guard and U.S . Environmental Protection Agency, <br /> 1985). Prior to drilling activities, each proposed drilling location will be clearly marked and a utility <br /> clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. <br /> I � <br /> - 3 .2. WELL INSTALLATION <br /> Based on soil and ground water data collected during the investigation of petroleum-hydrocarbon <br /> impact, AGE proposes installation of wells in the following areas : <br /> • One 6-inch diameter ground water extraction well (EW-1 ) located between 20 and 30 feet <br /> ` east of monitoring well MW- 1 and screened between 25 and 55 feet bsg; <br /> • One 2-inch diameter SVE well (VW- 1 ) located between 10 and 20 feet east of MW-5 and <br /> screened between 10 and 40 feet bsg; <br /> • One 2-inch diameter SVE well (VW-2) located between 20 and 30 feet southeast of MW-5 <br /> and screened between 10 and 40 feet bsg; <br /> _ One 2-inch diameter air sparge well (AW- 1) located between 10 and 20 feet east of MW- 1 <br /> and screened between 40 and 45 feet bsg; <br /> • One 2-inch diameter ozone sparge well (OSW- 1 ) located between 5 and 15 feet west- <br /> northwest of MW-7 and screened between 40 to 42 feet bsg; <br /> • One 2-inch diameter multi-level ground water monitoring well (MW-8) located <br /> approximately 20 to 30 feet east of MW- 1 and screen intervals at depths between 65 and 70 <br /> feet bsg), 95 and 100 feet bsg (B) and between 120 and 125 feet bsg (C); <br /> • One 2-inch diameter multi-level ground water monitoring well (MW-9) located <br /> approximately 60 to 80 feet south of MW-7 and screen intervals at depths between 30 and <br /> 40 feet bsg (A), 65 and 70 feet bsg (B), 95 and 100 feet bsg (C) and between 120 and 125 <br /> feet bsg (D); <br /> • One 2-inch diameter multi-level ground water monitoring well (MW-10) located <br /> approximately 45 to 65 feet east of MW-7 and screen intervals at depths between 30 and 40 <br /> feet bsg (A), 70 and 75 feet bsg (B), 95 and 100 feet bsg (C) and between 120 and 125 feet <br /> bsg (D); <br /> Advanced GcoEnvis onmental, Inc. <br />
