One Comet container on the shelf was found with an open damaged seal.When Samira scanned the item, <br /> the handheld scanner stated the California Generic Waste Code was TX. Samira said TX meant the item should be <br /> placed in the Toxic&State(TX&ST)hazardous waste(HW)tote. However,according to Big Lots Waste Disposal <br /> Quick Reference Guide and the oxidizer label, items containing bleach are classified as oxidizers and should be <br /> placed in the Oxidizer(OX)HW tote.
