You must demonstrate that soil contamination has been adequately assessed as required by San Joaquin County Health Services. • You must demonstrate that soil excavation and disposal is feasible, cost-effective and able to achieve the desired level of soil cleanup required by San Joaquin County Health Services, and Section 2725, Chapter 16, of the Underground Storage Tank Regulations (Article 11). • Provide site maps that identify underground tank locations, above ground tank locations, gasoline/diesel source locations, and soil sampling points. • All work preapproved by the State"Fund"must be under the direction and approval of the San Joaquin County Health Services Department, for the subject preapproval to remain valid . • Cleanup related to sources other than the claimant's gasoline underground storage tanks is not eligible for reimbursement. Please contact Mr. Harlin Knoll of San Joaquin County if you have questions about specific soil cleanup requirements related to releases originating from your underground storage tanks. Please remember that it is still necessary to submit the actual costs of the work, as explained in the Reimbursement Request Instructions,to confirm that the costs are consistent with this pre-approval �A before you will be reimbursed.
