z <br /> Addendum B to the Soil and Groundwater Investigation Workplan <br /> for the Manna Pro facility at 4004 El Dorado Street,Stockton <br /> Additional borings are proposed to further define the extent of soil and <br /> groundwater contamination at the Manna Pro facility. The attached figure <br /> shows the locations of these proposed borings as well as the borings <br /> installed during the periods November 8-9 and 13-15. Three borings will be <br /> installed to determine the extent of soil and groundwater contamination on <br /> the west and northeast sides of the excavation. One boring in the center of <br /> the excavation will determine the extent of soil contamination directly below <br /> the former tank locations. An additional boring will be installed south of <br /> the excavation in order to sample the groundwater with the hydropunch. <br /> Samples will be collected at a minimum from depths of 35 and 40 feet below <br /> grade where soil contamination has been observed in previous borings. <br /> Additional samples may be collected for further characterization of any <br /> contamination observed during drilling activities. Hydropunch samples <br /> will be collected from all borings except borings drilled in the center of the <br /> excavation. <br /> Additional borings may be installed if necessary to define the full extent of <br /> the soil and groundwater contamination at this site. Any additional <br /> } borings are anticipated to be located further north and northeast of the <br /> excavation and on the west edge of El Dorado Street if the initial borings <br /> encounter significant soil and/or groundwater contamination. <br /> 77 z <br /> November ERM-West <br />
