Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95202
RE: Manna Pro Corporation, 4004 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California
Dear Carrol,
Attached is the Re-excavation Work Plan for the tank facility at the above
location. The tanks were removed May 30; 1990 by Semco, under your supervision.
Soil samples taken 2 feet under the tanks indicated contamination while a sample taken
a few feet deeper was non-detect for petroleum and petroleum constituents.
WHF Environmental is proposing to excavate the remaining contaminated
material down to a maximum depth of 20 feet. Remediation by aeration will depend on
the concentration of contamination in the stockpiled soil, as directed by the San Joaquin
Air Pollution Control District soil aeration permit(to be obtained at a later date).
If you need additional information or have questions, please contact me at
(209)579-8138.
Sincerely,
Michael J. oberdanz, REA HS
- - ---- - -------- --._..._....-----_...- ---Y*W-ENVIRONMP 4TAL-CONSULTANTS-
MJK:sm
..
