Advance 4 direct-push technology (DPT) soil borings to 50 feet below surface grade (bsg) or <br /> deeper based on depth of the groundwater table and 2 consecutive five-foot interval of clean <br /> soil samples as indicated by field instrument the organic vapor monitor(OVM). <br /> 2. Collect soil and grab groundwater samples for laboratory analyses. <br /> 3. Contingency to install monitoring wells if the analytical results of the DPT samples indicate a <br /> need for repeatable monitoring points. Monitoring wells will be installed using hollow-stem <br /> auger. A work plan addendum including the number and location of the proposed <br /> monitoring wells will be submitted to EHD before installation of the monitoring wells. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> I. Completely continuous core at least the First DPT boring,which should be used as a guide to <br /> collect the soil and groundwater samples from the remaining DPT borings. Normal <br /> sampling and logging of the remaining DPT boring using four 6-inch brass sleeves every. 5 <br /> feet is still required if continuous core is not employed. <br /> 2. Implement the proposed work byJune 10,2004. Submit appropriate permit application and <br /> fee to EHD in advance of impiementation of the work. <br /> 3.
