Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
Re: ARCO Service Station No. 2130
7906 1NTcr h E1 Dora& Street, Stocldc , Califorrma
Dear Mr. Infuma:
This letter is written as a follow up to our telephone conversation on October 6, 1994,
regarding the submittal of an addendum to the Problem Assessment Report (PAR) for the
subject site, which San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) requested in a
letter dated August 29, 1994. The letter requested an addendum to the PAR be submitted
outlining remedial alternatives and further assessment activities necessary to delineate
hydrocarbons at and adjacent to the site. I mentioned that EMCON Associates was in the
process of submitting an access agreement letter to the property owner north of the site
to install one monitoring well. I also mentioned that we would be submitting a workplan
for the offsite assessment as well as additional onsite installation of remedial facilities (i.e.
vapor wells and sparge wells). Because a "zero' line for both soil and groundwater could
not be shown at this time, I suggested that the addendum to the PAR be postponed until
delineation is completed. You concurred and stated that the addendum to the PAR should
include all additional data gathered supporting delineation and present remedial
alternatives . If you have any questions regarding this project, please do not hesitate to
call.
Sincerely,
2.
J R. son
Senior echnical Supervisor
cc: Kyle Christie, ARCO Products Company
