MW-8 is within two feet of several buried electrical lines under Country Club Blvd, and within five feet of buried
telecom lines. MW-8 is also in the main east-bound traffic lane, making well box removal problematic. MW-8
water samples were ND across the board during the sampling events in 2013.
Well SP-G is within three feet of the same electrical line that passes close to MW-1. Ozo^ SP ✓jr well
Well SP-K is within two to three feet of electrical, water, and sewer lines.
VW-2 is within three feet of the on-site stormwater drain line .
Except for MW-8, the surface construction of these wells should be removable using vacuum equipment and
hand tools, allowing us to employ standard pressure-grouting techniques and remove the top five feet before
placing a grout cap. Because of its sensitive location, Cardno ATC recommends pressure grouting MW-8 and
leaving the well box in place, filling the well box with grout and using the box and lid to , maintain a traffic safe
condition .
Jim Kundert
STAFF GEOLOGIST
CARDNO ATC
COP&!Rl SSGO ' LI ZO UL '
ATC
Phone (+1 ) 209.579.2221 Fax (+1 ) 209.579.2225 Mobile (+1 ) 209.996.2767
Address 1117 Lone Palm Avenue, Suite 201 , Modesto, CA 95350
Email iim.kunderticDcardno.com Web www.cardnoatc.com " www.cardno.com
This email and its attachments may contain confidential and/or privileged information for the sole use of the intended recipient(s).
