The purpose of the meeting was to determine the type of <br /> data required by PHS/EHD to evaluate these sites for closure. <br /> Stagg High School <br /> PHS/EHD concurs with the Helmick and Lemer recommendation to install a monitoring <br /> well by the gasoline tank. PHS/EHD requested submittal of a mass balance estimate of , <br /> the soil and groundwater contamination remaining from the diesel tank and 220 feet of <br /> piping. <br /> Franklin High School j <br /> In order to determine the vertical extent of contamination in the area of B-1 a � <br /> groundwater sample should be obtained and analyzed for gasoline range hydrocarbons <br /> and its constituent components of benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes. 11 .7 <br /> Additional investigation or closure will be based on the results of the groundwater./ <br /> analysis. <br /> Edison High School r <br /> The vertical extent of contamination beneath tank 1 is unknown. Soil samples and if <br /> necessary a groundwater sample should be obtained and analyzed for diesel range <br /> hydrocarbons. Vertical extent will be considered determined with the first sample that <br /> returns analyses of non detect for diesel range hydrocarbons. <br /> SUSD Corporation Yard <br /> Three areas have yielded the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons from analytical data. <br /> This data is included in the January 27, 1997 Helmick and Lemer Report. PHS/EHD <br /> requires additional investigation in areas identified in the report by sample number. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
