One tank, 500 gallon capacity <br /> contained diesel fuel, and the other tank, WOO gallon capacity <br /> contained gasoline. As part of that Contract, soil samples were <br /> taken below the tanks which indicated the soil wan Contaminated. <br /> A copy of the test results for 8011 Samples taken below the tanks <br /> is included as an attachment to thin solicitation. A test was not <br /> performed below the pump dispenser/piping. <br /> The site contains & concrete island with light pole and air and <br /> water hoses. The government desires to preserve the island with <br /> existing equipment from being destroyed by required testing, if <br /> possible. <br /> To obtain access to the site or to obtain further information about <br /> the site, contact the BCS representative, Days Dyer, plant Materials <br /> Center Manager, (209) 727-5319• <br /> The Offeror shall provide the necessary equipment, personnel, and <br /> materials to drill bore holes, perform laboratory analysis and <br /> associated tasks to determine the nature and extent of soil <br /> Contamination of the alto resulting from the fuel leak in accordance <br /> with the Tri-Regional Board guidelines, the LOFT Field 14anual, and Ban <br /> Joaquin County public Health Services, Invironmental Health Division({ <br /> requirements. <br /> The successful Offeror shall obtain and Complete all Local, State, <br /> and federal permits, manifests, and forms required by this contract. <br /> All soil samples and tests taken shall be in accordance with the (t(�1 <br /> /.,If-11pir( requirements of the Jurisdictional agencies and shall be performed by <br /> flra���1�+�` a DUB certified firm. <br /> The Offeror shall provide any reports and documentations required <br /> by tbe �jurisdictional agenciea, a work plan/speoifiostions, with <br /> estimated quantities/oosts, and performance time, for remedial action <br /> work required for removal, treatment, and/or proper disposal of any <br /> hazardous waste contaminated ground material. The work plan/ <br /> specifications should detail the nature and extent of work needed and <br /> the most economical method of olean-up whioh- Mill meet the 01:, r'1}1> <br /> jurisdiotional agencies requirements. j It lr <br /> fl,'��1 � <br /> The successful Offerot ill be requ1red tb M/' the prevailing wage <br /> rates for the various classifications of workers performing work on <br /> this project.
