(AGF) requested this extension <br /> by e-mail dated May 7, 2007. Please note that this new submittal date is contingent upon <br /> completing fieldwork that includes the advancement of additional soil borings. <br /> By letter dated March 1, 2006, EIID approved the advancement of two onsite soil borings to <br /> fifteen feet below surface grade (bsb) to delineate soil and groundwater contamination south and <br /> southwest of the forn-ier underground storage tank (UST); and EIID recommended one additional <br /> boring, located halfway between the former LIST and monitoring well MW-5, be advanced to <br /> delineate the vertical extent of impacted soil. <br /> To date, you have not responded to EIID's recommendation for advancing a third soil boring., nor- <br /> have <br /> orhave you completed fieldwork approved by EI-ID for the advancement of two soil borings located <br /> south and southwest of the former USTs. Also, by letter dated April 17, 2007, EIID iit-ormed <br /> VOL] that Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (C'VRWQCB) recommends <br /> advancing one or more borings to approximately ten feet bsg, to delineate soil and groundwater <br /> contamination west of monitoring well MW-3. EHD directs you to respond by .June 12. 2007, to <br /> recommendations for advancement of one "deep" boring located halfway between the former <br /> UST and MW-5, and advancement of one or more soil borings to approximately ten feet bs,, <br /> located ',vest of MW-3.
