Assessment Work Plan, dated February 7, 2006, prepared by Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) on your behalf for the above-referenced site. In this work
plan, AGE proposes to advance four soil borings to fifteen feet below surface grade (bsg)
at the following locations:
• Onsite, approximately 80 feet southwest of extraction well EW-1
• Onsite, approximately 80 feet south of EW-1
t
• Off-site, approximately 25 feet east of EW-I and wrest of the warehouse located at
315 Enterprise Place, and
f
• Off-site, approximately`165 feet east of EW-1 and east of the warehouse located
at 315 Enterprise Place.
x
AGE also proposes to collect soil samples at five-foot intervals, beginning at five feet
bsg, and discreet groundwater samples from each borcliole and analyze the soil and
groundwater samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-d), and benzene,
toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (13TEX).
EHD approves the advancement of four sail borings to delineate sail and groundwater
contamination laterally to the southwest, south, and east of the former underground
storage tank (UST) location as proposed by AGE. Ind addition, EHD believes one ,
additional boring, located halfway between the former UST.and monitoring well MW-5,
should be advanced to approximately thirty feet bsg, or deeper if necessary, to delineate
the vertical extent of impacted soil at this site. Analyze soil and groundwater samples for
TPH as gasoline (TPH-g) in addition to the analytes listed above.
t
