B : <br /> W, W. <br /> Employee Protection <br /> Level Of Protection <br /> Level D will be the basic work uniform. <br /> Personal Protective Equipment. <br /> All personnel engaged in field activities will have the necessary health and <br /> safety items available at the job site. Depending upon the job requirements <br /> these may include the following: <br /> First Aid Kit <br /> Hard Hat <br /> Safety Glasses <br /> Hearing protection devices <br /> Protective gloves <br /> in addition,each worker will have available equipment necessary for the <br /> next higher level of protection. At this site, this equipment will include: <br /> Half Mask respirator <br /> Organic vapor cartridges <br /> Chemical resistant coveralls (coated Tyvek) <br /> Emergency Procedures for Personnel Injured or Exposed in the Work <br /> Zone <br /> 1, Assist the injured or exposed worker out of the, sampling area. <br /> 2. Call for medical help. <br /> 3. Administer CPR/first aid if needed. <br /> 4. if possible, carefully remove the victim's PPL and begin decon <br /> tantination procedures. <br />
