• <br /> Item#9 <br /> In Section 9.7.1, some text is missing from the discussion of equipment blanks, please provide <br /> that text. <br /> The paragraph should have read: <br /> Samples will be obtained from the wells in an order from the most to the least contaminated <br /> (historically). For the annual trihalomethane samples, an equipment blank will be obtained <br /> before obtaining the first sample, and also half-way through the sampling round. Equipment <br /> blanks are used to evaluate the adequacy of decontamination of reusable equipment. The <br /> equipment blank is obtained by taking deionized water (supplied by the laboratory) and pouring <br /> it through the sampling equipment so that it comes in contact with all of the surfaces that the <br /> samples come in contact with.
