Replacing the ECPU Board <br />ECPU Board Installation <br />guide slots (one at top and <br />bottom). <br />4 Pry the board <br />off of its retention pin 3 retention <br />pins. <br />Removing the ECPU Board <br />Disconnect each of the <br />three cables attached <br />to the ECPU board. <br />Pull the board straight out until you <br />disconnect it from the motherboard <br />5 connector and it clears the top and <br />bottom guides. Rotate it towards <br />you to clear the door. Hold the ECPU <br />board by its edges and avoid touching <br />components and connector pins. <br />Remove the grounding wrist <br />strap from its package and <br />wrap one end around your <br />wrist. Ahere the other end <br />to the side of the comm board <br />cage. <br />Turn OFF ac power to the <br />console. Push SW1 down to turn <br />battery backup OFF. consoles\ecPuout. eps <br />Figure 1.
