Easy Installation <br />Coax Couplings <br />Coax Fittings <br />Integrity Testing <br />Coax couplings are installed <br />to the ends of GeoFlex pipe <br />sections. The couplings <br />come pre -assembled and are <br />attached to the pipe by using <br />the GeoFlex coupling machine <br />There is no need to strip the <br />outer jacket before attaching <br />the coupling. Liquid pressure <br />tightness is ensured with a <br />triple 0 -ring seal. Two 0 -rings <br />seal the primary while one <br />0 -ring seals the secondary. <br />The coax fittings are <br />used to connect coupled <br />GeoFlex pipe sections. The <br />coax coupling connects to <br />the non-metallic, double <br />wall coax fitting by hand <br />tightening firmly. No tools <br />are required. <br />The GeoFlex coaxial fittings and couplings are UL/ULC <br />listed. In addition, coax couplings and fittings have been <br />thoroughly tested by Environ for long term performance <br />and integrity. They have been subjected to severe impulse <br />testing for over three million cycles (equal to 30 years of <br />operation) in both low and high temperature conditions <br />without any signs of leakage or deterioration. <br />Coax Applications <br />GeoFlex'-S Piping <br />The coax coupling -S is used <br />for single wall GeoFlex-S <br />piping. The coupling ferrule <br />is sized to compress onto the <br />outside of the primary pipe <br />and connects to all double <br />wall coax fittings. <br />GeoFlex'-D Piping <br />The coax coupling -D is used <br />for double wall GeoFlex-D and <br />M piping.
