Be <br /> sure to include your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any <br /> other relevant activities and required fields. <br /> This facility generates the following wastes: <br /> -used oil <br /> -automotive batteries <br /> -waste absorbent <br /> -parts washer solution <br /> -filters <br /> -metal fines <br /> -waste coolant <br /> -oil water separator waste <br /> Notes: <br /> 1)An inspection was last done on 3-3-2008 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be <br /> submitted to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by 4-3-2008 . This <br /> information has not been received resulting in a noncompliant status for this facility. An operator that receives <br /> an inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response <br /> documenting corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> The two open violations written in the above report were concerning the disposal of metal fines and an unsigned <br /> manifest copy 00222446CEX dated November 2006. Metal fines are being handled as hazardous waste, <br /> according to the verbal statement four the facility manager to M. Naidu, documented in the facility file on <br /> 4/8/2009. Metal fines were stored onsite in a labeled"hazardous waste" container. Ensure that all return to <br /> compliance documentation is sumbitted to the EHD with a written statement documenting the corrective actions <br /> that have been or will be taken for each violation.
