' � � �� KLEINFELDER ' subsurface utilities buried under private property will not be marked by the public utility companies contacted by USA. USA will be contracted at least 48 hours ' prior to performing field work. ➢ Kleinfelder is not responsible for safety considerations related to the Chevron and PG&E Pipeline easement. The selected excavation contractor (not a ' subcontractor of Kleinfelder), Chevron Pipeline Company and PG&E Pipeline Company will be responsible for safety related to their pipelines. ' ➢ Backfill, compaction and compaction testing are not part of the proposed services, but must be supplied by the selected backfill contractor. ➢ Based on preliminary information provided by RAH Environmental, Kleinfelder assumes the waste will be profiled as a non RCRA-hazardous waste and ' acceptable at Forward Landfill or Altamont Landfill (Class II Landfills). Actual results/classification may differ. Classification other than non-hazardous or non RCRA-hazardous waste may incur disposal to differing landfills (Class 1) and will substantially increase disposal costs through profiling, transportation and disposal costs. ' ➢ Kleinfelder is not responsible for geotechnical considerations or safety related to proposed excavation activities in and around the Chevron and PG&E pipelines. Specifics referenced in this workplan are for informational purposes only. ' Information within this workplan have been supplied to both PG&E and Chevron and have been supplied to the general contractor. Based on the information and methodology forwarded to Chevron and PG&E, and the information summarized ' in this workplan, Kleinfelder understands there are not outstanding safety or geotechnical issues with either PG&E or Chevron. Kleinfelder has relied on information provided from PG&E and Chevron for the methodology and specifics t mentioned with excavation in and around said pipelines. The excavation general contractor is responsible for adhering to OSHA, PG&E and Chevron pipeline criteria, as well as the "standard of care". 1 ➢ Kleinfelder is not responsible for the site safety of others. ' ➢ Kleinfelder is not responsible for supervising or directing activities of the general excavation contractor. ➢ Inclimate weather may impact the schedule and increase costs ➢ Two copies of all documents will be delivered to the client. Additional copies can be provided for a fee of $50 per copy. ➢ Client meetings and revisions to the reports are not included in the budget ' estimate, but can be provided on a time and materials basis at the client's request.
