<br /> By letter dated January 13, 2009, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)
<br /> directed that monitoring well MW-5R, located at the above-referenced site, be sampled at least two
<br /> additional quarters. This was in response to receiving preliminary results on December 3, 2008, for the
<br /> November 12, 2008, sampling of MW-5R that indicated the presence of significant concentrations of
<br /> petroleum hydrocarbon contaminants. By email on January 14, 2009, Advanced GeoEnvironmental,
<br /> Inc. (AGE) sent preliminary results for the December 05, 2008, groundwater sampling of monitoring
<br /> well MW-5R to the EHD. Petroleum hydrocarbon contaminants were not detected in groundwater
<br /> samples collected on December 05, 2008. Based on the non-detect results for contaminants of concern,
<br /> the EHD has concluded that one additional sampling of MW-5R is needed. AGE has scheduled the
<br /> sampling of MW-5R for January 22, 2009. The analytical results for groundwater collected from
<br /> MW-5R during the January 2009 sampling event will be utilized to determine whether additional
<br /> sampling of this well is necessary.
