(AGE) for the above referenced site. <br /> EHD and CVRWQCB do not recommend closure at this time. Further site investigation <br /> is necessary to evaluate the gasoline, diesel, and methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE) <br /> impact to groundwater with consideration that two municipal well stations are located <br /> 250 feet and 2,100 feet from this site. EHD and CVRWQC13 recommend that the <br /> following be implemented. <br /> 1. Collect groundwater samples at this site. Recent rainfall in the Stockton area and <br /> review of data for depths-to-water in groundwater monitoring wells near the <br /> Pacific Pride-West Lane site, indicate that the water table should be within the <br /> screening range of the monitoring wells at this site. <br /> 2. Prepare a model of the effects on groundwater from the leaching of organic <br /> contaminants through the vadose zone. VLEACH or a similar program may be <br /> used to prepare this model. <br /> 3. Determine the MTBE mass presently on this site. <br /> 4. Collect additional soil samples to assess the total organic contamination in the <br /> area of soil boring P3. <br /> 5. Excavate impacted soil,if feasible and appropriate,based on the results from the <br /> leaching model, current groundwater sampling, and the additional soil sample <br /> results. <br />
