Closure Summar ort - December 2002 <br /> Y Report <br />' PACIFIC PRIDE - WEST LANE <br /> 3230 North West Lane, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />' In accordance with the request of Mr David Atwater of Van De Pol Enterprises, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this Closure Summary Report(CSR) summarizing all <br /> field activities conducted at 3230 North West Lane, Stockton, California Based upon the results of <br />' investigations of the former underground storage tank area at the site,it is AGE's opinion that a site <br /> closure is warranted for this facility The site setting is Illustrated on Figure 1, the former <br /> underground storage tank locations, former site building structures and existing monitoring well <br />' locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> This CSR has been prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality Control <br />' Board (RWQCB) - Central Valley Region guidelines (Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations <br /> For Preliminary Investigations and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites) for No Further Action <br /> Requests (See Appendix A) <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />' The site is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of West Lane and Alpine Avenue in <br /> Stockton, California,in an area of low topographic relief at between 15 and 20 feet above mean sea <br />' level (Figure 1) The site is currently vacant, but was previously operated as a card-lock fueling <br /> station One 10,000-gallon diesel UST, two 10,000-gallon gasoline USTs, fuel dispensers and one <br /> building structure were formerly located on the property <br /> 21 REGIONAL GEOLOGIC/HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The property is situated within the Great Valley Geomorphic Province of California, a large, <br /> elongate, northwest trending, asymmetric structural trough The Great Valley Province has been <br /> filled with thick sequences of sediment ranging in age from Jurassic to Recent,creating a nearly flat- <br /> lying alluvial plain,extending from the Tehachapi Mountains in the south to the Klamath Mountains <br /> in the north The western and eastern boundaries of this province are comprised of the California <br /> Coast Range and the Sierra Nevada, respectively Rocks composing the basement complex of the <br /> province have not been completely defined but are believed to be metamorphic and igneous in origin <br /> I The northern and southern portions of the Great Valley Province have been designated the <br /> Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys, respectively <br /> Based on the General Soil Map from the San Joaquin County Soil Survey, published by the United <br /> . States Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service in 1992, the site area is within the <br /> Jackson-Hallenbeck-Stockton (JHS) association The JHS soils are located within basins, and <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
