QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING
IOn 28 December 2000, ground water monitoring and sampling were performed on wells MW-1,
MW-2 and MW-3, ground water elevation, flow direction and gradient were determined from the
Ifield data
2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES
I Depths to ground water were measured in wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 from the tops of the well
casings to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solmst water level meter Ground water elevations in each
well at the site were calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed
I well casing elevations (Table 1) Ground water elevations were plotted and contoured on a scaled
site map (Figure 3)
After water levels were measured, approximately 5 to 6 gallons of ground water(a minimum of three
casing-water volumes per well) were removed from wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 utilizing a
disposable teflon bailer Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured for stabilization from
each well using a Hydac water analyzer Field data and logs are included with Appendix A Purged
•
IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
I
