t <br />Summarized instructions for re -installing Fiberglass test port on a DoubleWall <br />➢ Drain sump of its monitoring fluid, dispose of. <br />➢ Remove the existing test port from the sump wall without damaging the sump. <br />➢ Un -thread the PVC barb assembly connected to the monitoring tubing, clean the threads of all sealant and set <br />aside. <br />➢ Abrade the area around the hole under the test port approximately 1" outward. <br />➢ Dust off and keep absolutely dry. Vacuum out the interiorof the hole to make sure dust does not accumulate in <br />the interstice. <br />➢ Ensure the sump interstice is vented to open air before bonding. <br />➢ Mix bravo retrofit adhesive and apply approximately 1/8" thick to the flat back surface of the test port. (apply <br />less to the center area) <br />➢ Mate the fitting to the bottom of the UDC centered over the existing hole and press and turn to firmly seat it. <br />➢ Allow it to fully cure_per the_instructions on the adhesive container. . <br />➢ After a full cure, re -thread the barb and tubing assembly using a coating of UL -Thread paste or white Vulkem <br />sealant. <br />➢ Pressure soap test the assembly and sump at a maximum of 4 PSI. <br />➢ If it passes all testing, re -fill with new monitoring fluid via Bravo's Hydra -Vac filling procedure and conduct an <br />ALDP test to verify integrity. <br />reei free to print this out for whoever may need to read it. <br />I <br />
