The permit has been approved <br />with the following conditions: <br />Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District and <br />local city building department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br />commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Elianna Florido at (209) 468-0343 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a <br />48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that inspections for <br />emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br />a. Witness soil sampling from under each removed UDC. If primary piping is removed outside <br />of UDC or sumps, additional soil samples will be required based on field observations and <br />as outlined in the sampling protocol. Analytical results to be provided to Environmental <br />Health Department. The San Joaquin County Sampling Protocol For Routine <br />Piping/Dispenser Removal /Replacement shall be followed. <br />b. Primary piping soap test on the installed UDC product piping and penetrations: One-hour <br />pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br />c. Secondary piping slope (at 1/8 inch per foot or greater) to a containment sump with an <br />audible/visual alarm <br />d. Secondary piping soap test on the installed UDC piping and penetrations: One-hour <br />pressure test at the manufacturer's recommended specification. If there are no <br />manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable method specified in <br />an industry code or engineering standard, after backfill and concrete is poured. <br />e. Visual inspection of the piping within the dispensers. <br />f. Verification of the dispenser footprints contained by the under dispenser containment <br />sumps (UDCs), any potential leaks from piping and fuel filters must drain into UDCs. <br />g. Verification of communication for all newly installed vacuum, pressure, or hydrostatic (VPH) <br />components. <br />1868 E.
