was below lower laboratory detection limits for TPI-Ig <0.2 mg/Kg, Benzene <0.005 mg/Kg, <br /> Toluene <0.005 mg/Kg, Ethyl Benzene <0.005 mg/Kg, Xylene isomers <0.005 mg/Kg and MTBE <br /> <0.05 mg/Kg. The PID (hand held photo ionizing detector) response to the fifteen foot depth <br /> samples (3 2x6 inch brass sleeves) ranging between 3.1 and 3.4 ppmv (parts per million vapor) <br /> using a 10.6 ev bulb and calibrated with 100 ppmv Isobutylene. PID responses to the 20,25 and 30 <br /> foot depth bgs samples ranged between 0.1 at the 30-foot depth bgs to 3.0 at the 25-foot depth bgs <br /> samples. <br /> DOCUMENTATION SAMPLES <br /> The City of Stockton Fire Department Inspector will direct UST removal. Sampling of the UST <br /> and associated piping removal and over-excavation of contaminated soils will be directed by a San <br /> Joaquin County Health Inspector. <br /> EXCAVATION (S) BACKFILL <br /> Once laboratory results (of the excavation documentation samples) have been received from the <br /> NSE and with concurrence with San Joaquin County Health,the excavations will be backfilled with <br /> the clean excavated stockpile soil, compacted in lifts to surface, ie. compacted in 2 foot lifts as <br /> described in the Underground Storage Tank Closure Permit. <br /> HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> The only personnel allowed to enter the site are those directly involved with the UST closure. All <br /> others will have to remain outside the fenced area. This site is considered a Class D site.
