Mary F Meays, REHS September 7, 1995 <br /> PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> P 0 Box 2009 <br /> (445 N San Joaquin Street) <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> (209) 468--0337 <br /> RE Addendum to Quarterly Sampling protocol for Former Regal <br /> Station 603 , 6425 Pacific Avenue at the intersection of <br /> Douglas Road, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> To help expedite the Quarterly Ground water Sampling at this <br /> site, a minor change in the sampling protocol is to be initiated <br /> on the September, 1995 sampling round <br /> Previously, depth to water and vacuum influence measurements were <br /> obtained on all of the wells prior to purging and sampling, then <br /> all the wells are sampled in order of cleanlyness (below <br /> detection limit wells first, then wells with lowest <br /> concentrations and finally wells with highest concentrations) A <br /> change in this protocol will reduce the amount of time needed to <br /> perform the monitoring/sampling and laboratory fees, thereby <br /> reducing costs to the Responsible Party (RP) <br /> ADDENDUM <br /> WEGE will perforin the depth to water and vacuum influence <br /> measurements on all wells as stated in the original sampling <br /> protocol, but will purge and sample only those wells that have <br /> previously exhibited gasoline range hydrocarbons (MW1, MW2 , MW3 , <br /> MW8, MW10 and MW12) on a quarterly basis All wells will be <br /> sampled on a yearly basis This minor change in sampling <br /> protocol will not alter the results or present any adverse effect <br /> on the interpretation of ground water gradient and quality and/or <br /> vacuum influence . <br /> All other protocols will be as originally outlined for this site . <br /> If you should have any questions please do not hesitate to call <br /> r-�nn <br /> v—.�.avv <br /> Since you , <br /> George .
