A vacuum pump pulls the water from the <br /> wells through dedicated one inch Sch 40 PVC pipe into a 100 <br /> gallon stainless steel tank. This water is then transferred to <br /> the "ConVault" for treatment by "tank aeration" with the vapor <br /> destruction accomplished using the thermal oxidizer. The thermal <br /> oxidizer is concurrently destroying vapor being pulled from the <br /> soil We are still placing the condensate water produced from <br /> the vapor extraction system into the "ConVault" vacuum stripping <br /> treatment <br /> If evaluations indicate that a continuous ground water pumping <br /> system is needed, selected wells will be connected to the <br /> "ConVault" treatment system <br /> Ground water recovery lines, from the wells to the treatment <br /> compound, will be 3/8" nylon tubing inside buried 3 " PVC pipe as <br /> double containment . <br /> The ground water recovery lines will be plumbed to an above <br /> ground polyethylene sediment trap.
