LT11i (91b) 6b8-5300 <br /> CALIF CONTRACTOR #513857 A CORM AT1ON,�",'jP <br /> iREGISTERED GEOLOGISTS <br /> Mr Larry Williams January 4, 1993 <br /> Senior Environmental Control Officer <br /> City of Stockton <br /> Dept of Municipal Utilities <br /> 2500 Navy Drive <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> (209) 944-8722 <br /> RE, Wastewater Discharge Permit UPDATE #11 for Wickland <br /> Properties site located at 6425 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, <br /> California <br /> Dear Mr Williams . <br /> The following letter is the Monthly Status Report concerning the <br /> above wastewater discharge permit . <br /> SPILL PREVENTION PLAN <br /> As required by the Wastewater Discharge Permit for this site, a <br /> spill prevention plan has been prepared. <br /> The waste stream is treated ground water condensate produced from <br /> • the vapor extraction of monitor wells MW1, MW2, MW3 , and MW10 and <br /> the purged water produced from the quaterly ground water sampling <br /> of all the wells associated with this site and Wickland site <br /> R604 , located at 1448 N El Dorado Street, Stockton, California. <br /> Lawrence Tank Testings (LTT) vacuum pump service has, for the <br /> time being, stopped (August, 1993) purging monitor wells MW1, <br /> MW2, MW3 , MW8 and MW10 A vacuum pump pulls the water from the <br /> wells through dedicated one inch Sch 40 PVC pipe into a 100 <br /> gallon stainless steel tank. This water is then transferred to <br /> the "ConVault" for treatment by "tank aeration" with the vapor <br /> destruction accomplished using the thermal oxidizer. The thermal <br /> oxidizer is concurrently also destroying vapor being pulled from <br /> the soil . We are still placing the condensate water produced <br /> from the vapor extraction system into the "CopVault" vacuum <br /> stripping treatment . <br /> If evaluations indicate that a continuous ground water pumping <br /> system is needed, selected wells will be connected to the <br /> "ConVault" treatment system. <br /> Ground water recovery lines, from the wells to the treatment <br /> compound, will be 3/8" nylon tubing inside buried 3" PVC pipe as <br /> double containment . <br /> The ground water recovery lines will be plumbed to an above <br /> ground polyethylene sediment trap. From the sediment trap the <br /> contaminated ground water is pumped through a centrifugal pump <br />
