System set at 0% air dilute. 11/04-05/93 Burners and Controls replaced burner and pilot assembly. 10/06/93 Unit off on arrival , restart and Adjust unit after was repaired Collect bag samples of MW1, MW2/3 , MW10, Ex, influent, and effluent for WEGE laboratory. System set at 0% air dilute . The VOC emissions have never exceeded the 52 lb/day emission limit for the site . No evidence of Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) was found during examination of the chromatograms of the samples taken to the WEGE laboratory, VAPOR SAMPLING COLLECTING LABORATORY SAMPLES Influent Sample The influent sample as obtained from a sample port located after the system vacuum pump before the REMOX Unit Sterile poly tubing is then used to attach a 1 liter tedlar bag, fitted with a special septum "valve" and tubing bib, to the sample port . The sample port is on the pressure side of the pump and therefore the bag will fall without need of a pump. Once the tedlar bag is filled, its valve is closed and locked, the appropriate label as placed on the tedlar bag Effluent Sample A sample port for the effluent is located in the exhaust stack of the " Remox system The flow pressure from the exhaust as great enough to fall a tedlar bag Sterile poly tubing is fitted to the the ,az bag mv,o" the camrll P val vP of the exhaust pore and tale char ba y=•� • tedlar bag as opened and the bag is filled with the sample Once the tedlar bag as full, the valve is closed and locked, the sample port closed, and the appropriate label is placed on the bag. The labels for both the influent and effluent tedlar bag samples show the date, time, sample ID# and analyses to be run. Both the influent and effluent tedlar bag samples are then placed within a cooler, on ice, and are hand delivered to WEGE' s laboratory that same day. page 2 of R603 , 11/17/93
