insurance so provided shall contain a contractual liability <br /> endorsement covering the liability assumed by the Permittee <br /> by the terms of his permit and shall contain a provision that <br /> such policy may not be cancelled except after thirty (30) <br /> days notice in writing to be given to the Director of Public <br /> Works . The copies of these policies or certificates <br /> evidencing the same shall be filed with the Director of <br /> Public Works of the City after approval of the City Attorney. <br /> 5. The issuance of this permit by the City does not create any <br /> agency on the part of the permittee, and the permittee will <br /> hold the City of Stockton harmless for any action for damages <br /> arising out of the permittee ' s activities performed under <br /> this permit. <br /> 6 . Permittee, or his contractor, shall obtain an Encroachment <br /> Permit for the installation of the well (s) . <br /> 7. The completed well head shall be covered with a meter box or <br /> valve box as approved by the City of Stockton . The top of <br /> the box shall be flush with the surrounding ground or <br /> pavement. <br /> 8 . The provisions of the State of California, Department of <br /> Water Resources Bulletin 74-81 entitled "Water Well <br /> Standards : State of California" shall be applicable to this <br /> permit. <br /> � <br /> 9 . All drilling locations, methods , and well design are� to be <br /> approved by the California Department of Health Services and <br /> the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> 10 . Drilling operations that create loud noise shall be confined <br /> between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. <br /> 11 . Portable mud tanks are to be used. <br /> 12. Water from well development shall be passed through a <br /> settling tank or filtered in an approved manner before <br /> discharge into the City storm sewer system. <br /> 13 . Blocking or barricading City streets shall be subject to the <br /> approval of the City Traffic Department. Traffic cones and <br /> warning signs shall be used to direct traffic . <br /> 14 .
