ENTRY OBJECTIVIES Offsite vertical and lateral extent groundwater sampling. Using <br /> CPT direct push drilling rig,will test formation to 240 foot depth with CPT log evaluate where <br /> water samples will be obtained using hydropunch type sampler. Water samples will be Geld <br /> screened with lOS50 PID-GC for presence of MTBE and Benzene. If field screening indicates <br /> positive concentrations of MTBE and/or Benzene a secant CPT test boring will be performed <br /> down gradient of the first. Boring have been permited through and will be destroyed under <br /> the direction of San Joaquin County Health. <br /> Work area will be coned off to prevent the general public from access. All fluids and soils <br /> generated from the boring activities will be placed into 55 gallon drums and stored within the <br /> treatment compound fenced area located at 6425 Pacific Avenue. <br /> SITE ACTIVITIES: <br /> 1. Conduct Health and Safety meeting <br /> 2. Set up traffic safety cones and signs <br /> 3. Position drilling rig. <br /> t 4. Conduct CPT testing to 250 feet below surface. <br /> 5. Based on CPT logs perform hydropunch sampling to desired depths and obtain <br /> groundwater samples. <br /> 6. Field screen water samples for Benzene and MTBE <br /> f 7. Determine if second CPT test hole is necessary. <br /> S. Destroy test borings by trimie method. <br /> 9. Clean and secure drilling site. <br /> 10. Remove traffic safety <br /> 11. Decon drilling/sa in p ling equipment, place decon fluids into 55 gallon drums <br /> JOB HAZARD ANALYSES <br /> PHYSICAL HAZARDS <br /> X NOISE X TRAFFIC <br /> X_UNDERGROUND HAZARDS OVERHEAD HAZARDS <br /> —EXCAVATIONS/TRENCHES X MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT <br /> X OTHER GASOLINE POWERED ELECTRICAL GENERATOR AND <br /> ELECTRICAL CORDS COULD CAUSE A SHOCK HAZARD. WEATERH IS COLD AND <br /> WET (RAIN) EXTRA CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN IN PREVENTING WET,SURFACE <br /> SLIPING AND ELECTRICAL SHOCK CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO NOT ALLOW <br /> STROM WATER FROM ENTERING THE EXCAVATION AND OR STORM DRAINS <br /> THAT MAY CONTAIN CONTAMINATED MATERIAL. <br /> 2 R603 HEALTWSAFETY <br />
