July 27, 1988 PAYMENT
RECEIVED
TO: Ron Valinoti, Director AUG 11988
Environmental Health Division f.NVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
FROM: William R. Stewart
Owner 515 W. 11th St. Tracy, CA.
Dear Ron:
I do not plan to operate the above referenced station. It is
closed and a sale is pending upon the satisfactory remedy to the
contamination problem.
As you know this is being taken care of by R. KablanowII of
Geological Technics in Modesto.
Enclosed is the fee for $35.00 which has been requested in order
for your office to review the latest proposal from Mr. Kablanow.
What we are looking for is to fiberglass the diesel storage tank
to make it operational. Upon this being completed I can then
consumate a pending sale of property.
The new operator/owner will then fill out any operating permits
necessary.
All of the gas tanks have tested normal and have no leaks. With
the fiberglassing of the diesel tank the station should meet
County standards for operation.
Your assistance in this matter would be appreciated. We have been
working on this problem for a vear an n' t seem to be any
further along than when we started. has indicated that it
will be months before a satisfactory solution is accomplished and
the buyers want to get going.
Than s,
William R. Sewart
452 W. Lowell Ave.
Tracy, CA. 95376
